About the Antique Man
Twenty years of knowing what things are worth
Scott Utke. Everyone just calls him the Antique Man. He's spent twenty years buying and selling antiques, ten years learning the difference one signature or one weave makes in a rug, and six years running his own used-furniture store. That's not a marketing line, it's why nothing valuable leaves your family's house by accident.
He does this for regular working families in the hardest weeks: a parent's passing, a fast downsize, a hoarder house that got away from someone, a home that has to be empty by closing. He doesn't care how messy it is, he doesn't judge, and he treats a packed Downriver bungalow with the same respect as any mansion.
“If it's worth something, you should be the one it's worth something to.” — Scott

“They found a rug we were about to give away and wrote us a check for it that afternoon. The whole house was empty in three days.”
“My dad was a hoarder and I was mortified to let anyone in. Scott didn't blink. Cleared the whole packed house, and found things worth real money I'd have thrown out.”
“Our realtor recommended Scott. He set aside my mother's letters and photos before anything was cleared. That meant everything.”
