Detroit
The bungalows and colonials the big estate-sale companies drive past — Rosedale Park, Warrendale, the east side, all of it. I grew up around these houses and I know what's in them: good rugs under bad carpet, sterling in the buffet, tools in the garage worth real money. Whole-house clean-outs, cash buyouts, and managed sales anywhere in the city.
Livonia
Ranches and tri-levels that have been in the same family since they were built. Livonia houses are usually full of solid mid-century furniture, and I pay cash for it instead of charging you to haul it. Free walkthroughs everywhere from Five Mile to Eight Mile.
Lincoln Park
Downriver is home turf. Lincoln Park bungalows hold more Danish teak and good pottery than people expect, and I've cleared plenty of them. If you're settling a parent's house near Fort Street, I can walk it this week.
Allen Park
Tidy capes and brick ranches, often packed to the rafters in the basement. I clear the whole house, set aside the papers and photos, and hand it back broom-clean for the realtor.
Inkster
No judgment and no attitude, whatever shape the house is in. I buy the good pieces, donate what helps your taxes, and haul the rest. The walkthrough is free and so is the straight answer.
Dearborn
From the south end to Dearborn Heights, these houses hold generations of good furniture, china, and rugs. I know what it's worth before it hits a dumpster, and I pay for it on the spot.
Redford
Redford basements are where good tools and old advertising signs go to hide. Hoarder houses welcome — I've cleared them wall to wall, and the family walked away with a check instead of a bill.
Wyandotte, Taylor, Southgate & Downriver
Melvindale, Ecorse, River Rouge, Wyandotte, Southgate, Taylor — if it's Downriver, I'll come look for free. Out-of-state family? I can do the whole thing from this end and send photos as I go.
